After the Great East Japan Earthquake, which caused significant damage due to ceiling collapses and falls, there has been a strong demand for "safe ceilings." In response to this demand, we began developing ceiling materials that are excellent in sound absorption and insulation, as well as being lightweight and resistant to cracking. This led to the creation of our "Lightweight ceiling material," which protects people's safety in various places such as nurseries, schools, commercial facilities, and airports.

Nurseries need to be places where children can spend their time safely, and their safety is particularly important during disasters. Additionally, a lot of noise is generated when children play and learn. At Hoshikawa Luna Nursery School, the safety and sound absorption of our "Lightweight ceiling material" have been highly evaluated, and it has been adopted as the ceiling material for the nursery.
